I attempted to post this about 3 hours ago but it appears my Router has crapped itself. I am now using the very first ADSL modem supplied back in 2002 when I first connected via ADSL with Telstra.
I am also using my old XP computer with 17in monitor which looks and feels rather strange hahaha.
Anyway, You may have already noticed that I have successfully written new code that allows me to show Google Adsense ads as the second post in every topic.
I intend to later, do much the same to show banner ads within topics as all these ads, if used by you for online shopping etc can add a few cents a day to the coffers of a very very broke Gum Tree
I am not sure if Google is pay for clicks or not but that's irrelevant as I dont expect you to click on any of the ad links just for the sake of it. Also with Google ads on any site, they open in the same window so you do get taken away from the site you are viewing so please remember that. I tend to right click google links and open in a new window so I dont get lost
Anyway, this is just another addition that I have spent many hours working on to get it right and now that I have it working, adding other content in much the same manner should be pretty easy ... I hope
